Red Bridge Monoprint - Cadmium Red Ink on Square White Paper

from $150.00
sale

This is a hand-printed, original pressing from a 13” round section of one of the support pilings from the red bridge. Printed in cadmium red on 18” square, white, cold-pressed 140lb archival paper. Every one of these is unique, with slight variations from the patterns in the wood and the printing process. This series will be limited to 150 prints.

The species appears to be Douglas-fir. The wood was coated with creosote and has been standing in the elements for almost a century. The interior of the log was still in good condition.

30% of the revenues from this project are going to the Christmas Cheer Fund with the BC Interior Community Foundation, or one of their other community-focused programs. (See https://www.bcicf.ca/giving/christmas-cheer/)

This is your opportunity to display something in your home or office from this historic landmark.

Choose as unframed or installed in a simple black, square frame. For custom framing options, please email me prior to placing an order.
